Why did you start FXB?
My soon to be mother-in-law (Deb Boatman) asked me to join with her, I very skeptically couldn't say no to her.  I fell in LOVE with the place on Day 1!!
 
What did you gain from Farrell's?
A chance to love what I do everyday. And an extended family and group of friends with common goals and interests.
 
Why are you instructing?
To give back what others did for me. To help people change physically but more importantly to help them grow mentally and gain confidence! It's the most rewarding job I've ever been blessed to fulfill!

Biggest surprise about FXB: First, it was that ANYTHING could consistently get me out of bed and doing something productive by 6AM!! .... I later came to find that some people (of whom I am now one) are actually up and at em BEFORE 4AM! Who knew?!
Favorite FXB Food: Chicken Cordon Blue burgers
My Favorite Fun Day Food: Any number of adult libations could arguably fall into this category 😉

How has FXB changed/affected your life?: I feel more fit than ever. I feel healthier than ever. I have met SO MANY wonderful people! Incidentally I love working with my beautiful wife and mother, and Jim too! Most of all though the work we do at New Hope FXB is so exciting, fun, and meaningful. I'm so honored and humbled to be even just a small part of the truly life-changing work that we see affecting so many lives session after session! I have had a hunger deep down in me for a very long time for meaning and purpose in my daily work, and FXB has helped me attain that.

How has FXB changed/affected your life?: My FXB experience began with a short-term goal to lose weight and look better for my son's wedding and to exercise with with his fiance' as a way to bond and get to know each other better. Those goals were easily met by showing up every day and following the program. But I also felt so much better and healthier physically, mentally, and emotionally. At Farrell's New Hope I was surrounded every day by motivating, caring, hard-working, passionate, fun people who are now my closest friends. The Farrell's fit lifestyle is part of who I am!

I have always felt a deep personal satisfaction when I help other people achieve their goals. I enjoy that even more that meeting my own! At Farrell's I've been privileged to celebrate the successes of many other members as an coach, instructor and (now amazingly I can add), FXB owner! What started as a means to look better for Zach and Krista's wedding has become a family partnership with them! I love our immediate and extended family at Farrell's New Hope! My husband, Jim and I are on the ride of our lives!

How has FXB changed/affected your life?: FXB has made me more flexible and stronger.
Why did you start FXB?
I joined Farrell’s after seeing a coworker enjoying it at the Maple Grove location. I sent my husband in to the New Hope location to check it out and after he had great results we decided we both needed to be a part of it. Having 3 children we needed to both take a little time for ourselves and we have been making it work for about 2 years now!

What did you gain from Farrell’s?
I am constantly gaining from FXB. The biggest thing I have gained is a community of like minded people. We all have the same end goal, to have a healthy balance enough to enjoy life! Farrell’s New Hope is more than just a gym, we care about each other.

Why are you instructing?
I have always wanted to be in the fitness industry and after finishing my 10 week program I thought, I could do that! The owners believed in me and so it began. This is a new way to push myself out of my comfort zone while helping others improve their health. It’s a win, win!

Why did you start FXB?
My wife convinced me to sign up for the 10-week challenge after hearing very good things about Farrell's from co-workers. It had been awhile since either since either of us had worked out regularly, but we frequently discussed the need to start doing something to get back into shape. She had recently given birth to our 3rd child so I "volunteered" to sign up first, while she intended to sign up the following session after recuperating a bit more (which she did!)
 
What did you gain from Farrell's?
For the first time since participating in organized sports in high school and college I have worked out regularly and consistently. I have also realized the importance of eating healthier (with much help from my wife in addition to Farrell's) and have never felt better.  The social aspect of being a member at Farrell's ranks right up there with the physical benefits. I have gained many new friends and enjoy seeing all the familiar and friendly faces every time I walk in the door! I work from home, so being able to get out of the house and interact with other adults on a daily basis is just an added bonus to getting a great workout.
 
Why are you instructing?
I chose to start instructing to get more involved with Farrell's and to help make a difference in other people's lives. My goal is to push everyone to find their Level 10 and have a good time doing it!
Why did you start FXB?
I started FXB to look better and feel more confident in my own body. I have two daughters, and I wanted to be able to keep up with them (kids are FAST!) and to be a good example of a strong, active and confident woman.

What did you gain from Farrell’s?
I have gained so much! Increased fitness, increased strength, and increased self-confidence. I have a new appreciation for my own body and what it is capable of. My daughters see me “go to my exercise” and they want to kick and punch and work out too. I love the community and camaraderie at Farrell’s, and I have gained wonderful friends.

Why are you instructing?
I enjoy seeing members push themselves physically and mentally and experience their own personal transformations. I hope to make the workouts enjoyable and to encourage members to step outside their comfort zones. I also love my gym and I am honored to be a part of the Farrell’s family!

Why did you start FXB?
I’ve always worked to stay in shape, mostly with running. Health and fitness are very important to me. When I entered my mid 40’s, my job became more sedentary and stressful as I took on more responsibilities. I noticed an increase in aches and pains. My friend had heard about Farrell’s and together we joined in April, 2015. Since then, my family has noticed a change not only in me physically, but also emotionally. I am a much happier person when I am taking care of myself. I am happy to report that my husband and daughter have also joined Farrell’s.
 
What did you gain from Farrell’s?
I not only gained the strength I wanted and needed, but I gained confidence and endurance too. Farrell’s made me a faster runner, which I wasn’t expecting. I also gained a network of friends that feel more like family. I have had more opportunities to try things I never would have tried on my own. The owners, instructors, and members of Farrell’s have challenged me to try events like the Tough Mudder, Ragnar Relay, and Aerial Fitness! I can’t wait to see what challenge we will take on next.
 
Why are you instructing?
I am instructing because I have a passion for leading people in positive activities. I wholeheartedly believe in the Farrell’s model. Although I have exercised my whole life, I have never been part of a program that has not only kept my interest, but has given me results, like Farrell’s has. Instructing not only keeps me in the physical shape I need and long for, but it keeps me honest when it comes to form, nutrition, and attendance.
 
Why did you start FXB?
I started FXB because after my first trial session, I fell in love! I also liked the fact that it was 6 days a week!
 
What did you gain from Farrell’s?
I have gained many things from Farrell’s. I gained strength, dedication, friends and most of all a happy me!
 
Why are you instructing?
I instruct because I am a stickler on form! I also instruct because I have always wanted to teach exercise in some way, and this was the perfect fit for me!
Why did you start FXB?
I started FXB with the encouragement of a family member. I also wanted to get stronger and healthier.

What did you gain from Farrell’s?
I gained strength and endurance. I also gained confidence and many awesome friends.

Why are you instructing?
I instruct because I enjoy helping others reach their goals. I get satisfaction out of pushing people out of their comfort zones. I’m also a pretty outgoing person so it fits me very well.
